Kicking Off Our Chicken Coop Project

We've started an exciting new project and wanted to bring you along for the journey. Our first step was choosing the right location - somewhere that's not only practical but also adds character to our backyard.

Next up, we laid out the building location, ensuring it's exactly 8'x12' to maximize space while adhering to our precise plans.

We dug the holes right down past the freeze line, which is over 48 inches deep. This detail ensures a solid foundation that stands firm through all seasons - a step critical for durability.

Finally, we squared everything up and poured concrete, setting the groundwork for a sturdy structure that will comfortably house our feathered friends.
